A client group`s billings can be accepted on the “exporting bills” section (“laskujen vienti”), after which they can be made into bills or be sent to accounting.
First choose the customers and products to be charged in the “service summary” (“palvelukooste”) section. After this, bring them to the “transporting bills” (“laskujen tuonti”) section by clicking the “transfer to become bills” (“vie laskuksi”) in the service summary section.
1. Checking bills
You can check and observe bills once you have fetched them from the service summary section.
The bills are by default condensed into a list. There is an arrow in front of every charged part, and once you click the arrow the bill expands for closer observation and for filling in the payers information if needed.
The bill breakdown under the payers information can also be expanded by clicking the arrow in front of the products.
2. Exporting bills
There are two ways you can export bills from DomaCare.: either through the integration of your company`s billing,- and accounting program or by creating a transition file onto your computer (onto the desktop by default) that you can manually transfer into your billing,- and accounting program.
2.1 Through an integration with DomaCare
By clicking the “transfer bills” (“vie laskut”) button, that can be found on the upper edge of the screen, opens a transferring window. There on the menu you can choose the financial management program (on DomaCare) where you want to transfer the bills. Click the “transfer to e-bill” button to move the bills.
2.2 As a seperate file
On the lower right edge of the screen you can find a “create a transition file” (“luo siirtotiedosto”) button. By clicking that button you can create a file out of your bills, that can then be saved onto your computer and manually moved to your financial management program. First, choose the location where you want to save the file and then add the name the file. The file`s default name can be set from the settings.
3 Printing bills
You can print bill breakdowns from all your bills by clicking the “print” (“tulosta”) button on the lower left corner of the screen. Singular breakdowns can be printed by clicking the “print” button on the right side of a singular bill.
The program creates a preview of the bill breakdown before final printing. The breakdown can be printed by clicking the “print” button on the upper right corner of the screen. You can also save the breakdown onto your computer as a PDF-file by clicking the floppy disk symbol.
4. Billing settings
You can edit default billing settings from the “billing settings” (“laskutuksen asetukset”) part in the “structure of the program” (“ohjelman rakenne”) section in the “settings” (“asetukset”) tab.
For example, the default name of a transition file can be changed in the “default form of transition file`s name” (“siirtotiedoston nimen oletusmuoto”) section. The name is formed by using free text and pre-programmed (marked with $) tags.
Additional information on forming a name available by clicking the info- button on the end of the row. This opens up a new window with an instruction page such as shown below.
