A service contract that has been made with a municipality,  can be created on DomaCare`s “billing” tab (“laskutus”) in the “contracts” section (“sopimukset”).


On the left side of the page there is a list of service contracts that have already been established onto the system. The contract you wish to read opens up onto the space on the right side of the page after clicking it. You can create new service contracts by clicking the “create a new service contract” (“luo uusi palvelusopimus”) button that can be found under the contract list.



Tips:

  • A service contract is required for all municipality bills.
  • Products/services will be priced under one contract, so they can be given to the clients of that certain contract. 

  • Sometimes multiple contracts are created for the same municipality, because different clients have different prices for the same service. 

  • The payer on the contract by default pays the products under the said contract.

  • The payer can be a municipality or some other party, such as an insurance company. 

  • Some of the products under a contract can be directed to clients` bills. 

  • A separate contract should be created for self paying clients, with the same products used as in municipality contracts.






1. Creating a new service contract


Once you have clicked the “create a new service contract” (“luo uusi palvelusopimus”) button, you get to add information to the contract. Fill in the name of the contract, information of the payer, and period of validity, etc.

Now you can add the contract to the service units it`s related to,  by clicking “add to units” (“lisää yksiköihin”) on the lower edge of the page.


With the “show the price list” (“näytä hinnasto”) button you can attach and observe the contract products added to a contract. You can add more once you have created contract products to the system.

“Edit day products´ waiting period” (“muokkaa päivätuotteiden karenssia”) and “edit monthly products´ waiting period” (“muokkaa kuukausituotteiden karenssia”) -buttons can be found on the lower right corner of the contract. When you click those buttons you can add default waiting periods to a contract.

Clients can be added only after saving the contract. At this point the “grant to clients” (“anna asiakkaille”) button is not in use.



2. Editing an already existing service contract


You can edit an already existing service contract by clicking the contract you want to edit from the left side of the list on the “contracts” (“sopimukset”) section. The contract opens up to be viewed on the right side of the page. In order to edit the contract`s information you must click the “edit” (“muokkaa”) button on the lower right corner of the contract. You will most likely have to scroll the contract both down and right to find the edit button.



When you have clicked the edit-button the fields will open to be edited.



You can edit and attach new units onto the contract by clicking “attach units” (“liitä yksiköitä”) -button.



You can edit and attach contract products to the contract with the “show price list” (“näytä hinnasto”)– button.
